The congestion of the sky by low orbit satellites is getting so high that you can see it with your bare eyes. Companies like Starlink are throwing satellite trains for communication into low orbit in the thousands, providing internet even to the most remote areas on earth.
What is a fantastic business model for these companies renders earth bound astronomy basically useless. Please keep in mind when you are subscribing to Starlink that all the telescopes that were built with billions of taxes for research funds are more and more useless and that none of these companies is compensating you for the tax money you paid or the research which cannot be done anymore!
